Browser security experts are pleased with the built in security of most modern browsers.
Dave Jevans, founder and chairman of IronKey says “It is hard to say one browser is more secure than the others,” “There have been a lot of improvements in browser security; they are quite good.”
While Internet Explorer still has the largest market share (around 45 percent), Firefox isn’t too far behind (a tick under 30 percent), while Chrome is also popular (about 15 percent).
The best way to ensure you’re not at risk from any internet nasties is to keep your browser updated. Most browsers will automatically let you know when it’s time to upgrade. So be sure to do it!
